Hi there, I think I am finally getting the hang of this now and with a lot of help from my daughter, I might just be up and running (or should I say blogging as I’m still too fat for running just yet)
So I did it, my first week of food optimising and I have to say it is amazing, you really can eat yourself silly and lose weight! I stuck to the rules, made a diary of everything that passed my lips (other than toothpaste, not sure if that’s a syn) and headed off down to my first weigh-in with my new found friends. The feeling was fantastic when I stepped up onto those scales “well done Martin, you’ve lost 4.5lbs” that’s like nearly two and a half bags of sugar, wow where did that go!! This is just the start believe me. I have spent the weekend sorting the kitchen cupboards out, throwing away all the old sauces and packet mixes and replacing with staple ingredients in preparation to create some wonderful, tasty and syn free meals for me and my family to enjoy.
Throughout my journey I plan to try the suggested Slimming World recipes and create my own amazing recipes to share with you all, so please follow me, talk to me, encourage me and in return I promise to share my success with you all. xx
